On Monday, Eataly locations across the world celebrated the store's 10-year anniversary in the US and made an important announcement for Italian food lovers.
To mark the occasion, Eataly attempted to make the longest (virtual) pasta sheet in the world via Instagram Live. Pasta teams paired-off, representing New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Stockholm, Kuwait, Turin, and Milan. The international event was called the "La Grande Sfogliata."

But best of all, Eataly seized the moment to remind eaters about their largest sale of the year. “Saletember” runs from September 3 through October 4 with products discounted up to 65 percent.
Eataly was founded by Oscar Farinetti in 2010. The first US market opened in the Flatiron neighborhood of New York City.
