Our skillet chocolate chip cookie recipe
This cookie recipe is actually quite simple and the results? Super tasty! The cookie will be crunchy on the outside, but soft in the center. Just like a real cookie, but gigantic!
Ingredients:
8 oz type “00” flour
7 oz chocolate
4 ½ oz superfine caster sugar
4 oz butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1 vanilla pod

Method:
Preheat the oven to 355°F (180°C). Butter a cast-iron skillet with a diameter of about 10 inches. In a large bowl, add the butter and sugar and whip until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla seeds, incorporating them into the mixture. Then add the flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.
Coarsely chop the chocolate, adding about half of it to the cookie dough. Transfer the cookie dough into the skillet and press lightly with a spoon until the bottom of the pan is almost entirely covered. Pour the remaining chocolate over the surface, pressing it gently into the dough. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 355°F (180°C).
