The magic of December 25th is made of many different things. And there’s nothing that compares to that special nostalgia surrounding the Christmas lunch table – all the years spent waiting, sharing and making memories with friends, family and loved ones. That’s why we’ve decided to collect our favorite traditional Italian recipes for this time of year – not simply because they’re delicious, but also because any of these dishes will certainly evoke nostalgia and tradition bite after bite.

And this year, why not include the family in preparing these fabulous dishes? To involve the kids (and make some Christmas memories with them), let them help you shape the fresh pasta for a first course! For the men of the house (assuming they’re not already helping with preparations), have them make the meat stuffing! Then, you can ask the grandparents to help with shaping stuffed pasta like tortellini. (In Italy, the older generations are experts at this kind of thing.)
